Genesis 11:1-6
And the whole earth was of one language, and of one speech. And it came to pass, as they journeyed from the east, that they found a plain in
the land of Shinar; and they dwelt there. And they said one to another, Go to, let us make brick, and burn them throughly. And they
had brick for stone, and slime had they for morter. And they said, Go to, let us build us a city and a tower, whose top may reach
unto heaven; and let us make us a name, lest we be scattered abroad upon the face of the
whole earth. And the LORD came down to see the city and the tower, which the children of men builded. And the LORD said, Behold, the people is one, and they have all one language; and this
they begin to do: and now nothing will be restrained from them, which they
have imagined to do.
The Bible says that they started to make plans on what they will build and they made sure
they had one language. That means what one had in mind was the same thing that the other
had in mind. There are a lot of people who cannot achieve their vision because they are not
one with themselves. You may ask the question how can one not be one with himself. They
are people who are scattered. They are people who are everywhere. There are some people
who want to do everything. They are some people who involve themselves in everything and
at the end of the day they don’t know where they stand. The Bible says they decided to make
bricks all together, they decided to do something in one accord. They decided to build a
house together. That means for the vision to be accomplished, there must be some
decisions that you will make. And the decisions that you will make will not be things that
please you sometimes. You must be able to twist yourself so hard to allow that vision to
come out. We are living in a world of distraction and the way the world is framed is to steal
people’s visions sometimes, for example when you look at what drive people today, you will
realise that a lot of people are concentrated in things that are not in line with their vision. A
lot of people are chasing in the shadow of their trap. A lot of people are looking at things that
are designed like that vision, and they are trapped in them. But this year I want you to be
focus and I want to be focus before you stand in this vision there is a vision in your heart. For
this vision to be accomplished, your own vision must also be accomplished. Because as you
are pushing this vision your own will not be left behind. The Bible says where there is no
vision the people perish (Proverbs 29:18-19). So, as you are sitting here today and listening to
me. Is there anything driving you? what really drives you? Because it is the things that drive
you that will dictate what you have to do. If nothing drives you at all you will be chased by any
kind of wind that will come close to you. Everybody will give you a plan and Anything will
want to give you a plan and you will realise that by the end of the day you will follow
everybody. We are not meant to follow everybody. We are not meant to be everywhere. A
person of a vision cannot be everywhere. You must learn to be at one place and be focus. Try
to understand where you are going. knowing where you are going and what you want to do, generates confidence. When you know where you are going you are confident, knowing that I
am going to make sure that that thing is accomplished. You’re happy knowing that at the end
of the day, there will be something to show. Don’t start something that you have not seen the
end. Don’t start a journey that you have not seen the end. It is very important. Because if you
don’t see the end, you will not have the wisdom to manage yourself how to get there. There are visionaries who have sought for GOD and received the plan of their lives. That
means the moment you are searching for GOD, and working for GOD, you may not have your
own vision, but through the vision of GOD, you realise that at the end of the day you are
following your own path. That means the moment you are standing with GOD, by working
with Him, you are always pressing on to be right with Him. I decide to be right with GOD, because I know that the vision of GOD in my life is to serve Him first of all and next to draw
many to HIM. And make sure His Name will be proclaimed in all the earth. That’s why as
House of Love, we are leading all nations into the Love of Christ. We know where we are
heading to. We know that many need to come to Christ. And no matter the weather and no
matter the time we are standing in this vision. We are one in this vision and make sure you
are one in this vision make sure you are connected and obedient to follow the path of this
vision. People of vision are warriors. Because if you are not a warrior, you will end up doing
what you are not suppose to do or you will end up doing things that are not in line with your
vision. Don’t compromise with your vision, do things that will compromise with your vision. Your vision must speak to you every day. As you go out, before you step out of your door, you
must look at your vision because the things you will do out there, must be in line with the
vision. That’s how many are confused, because they forget their vision and it is when someone will
speak to them and they will say oh, you know this is what I am called to do. No matter what it
takes we stand with our Vision. No matter what we do we will lead men in this vision. Our
Vision must be fulfilled. Your vision must be fulfilled. And nothing in this world should stop
you from your vision. The Bible says that we should write it plain, so that they that
understand the vision may run with it (Habakkuk 2:2-3). That means as we are coming
together in House of Love Ministries every Sunday or every time that we gather. We must
understand why we come together. And I have some few points that I have noted down. That
will take our time working on this year. And this one is the work of everyone in this church. We will open it up, we will talk about it in the cells and in every meeting, we will have through
out this year. To make sure that we understand why we come to the church. Habakkuk 2:2-3
And the LORD answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that
he may run that readeth it. For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though
it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry. You know when you read the Word of GOD, you must put yourself in the Word of GOD. And
don’t read the Word of GOD only for the day. Read the Word of GOD as GOD Himself has
written. It says for the vision is yet for an appointed time. That means some vision have a
time frame. Some visions are precise, it helps you to understand that some visions, you may
give them a deadline. I will accomplish this in 6 months, I will accomplish this in one year and
you make sure that that during those 6 months, that vision is accomplished. But the Bible is
saying here again that even if it doesn’t come to pass, wait for it. And while you are waiting
don’t be distracted. Wait for it, shall surely come to pass. That is to tell you, how confident
GOD is knowing that any vision, that are aligns with His purpose will surely come to pass. He
says it will no tarry, your vision will not tarry. No matter how hard it is now, no matter how dry
things seem to be now, it will not tarry. So, these are the few points we will work on this year.
1. SUSTAIN THE MINISTRY
In the cause of this year, we will sustain the ministry, we will bring out plans and attributes on
how to sustain the ministry. That means to keep the ministry alive. To keep the ministry on
its gaols. And this is the duty of everyone of us. I said earlier, that we all must be like warriors
because if we are not like warriors, we will take it lightly and at the end of the day we will
miss it. Every vision that is big today is achieved by men. Every vision that speaks today is
done by men. Every vision that has influence today is through men. And men can only work
when they are together. In the book of Genesis 11: 1 that we read today, it said they were in
one accord. That means the moment they decide to do something, they run with it. in that
same portion of the Bible, it says that GOD saw what they decided to do and He decided
come down to see. That means there are possibilities today that people can come together, and do something that GOD will know that these are people who are in one accord. That
means in our plans in sustaining the ministry our heart is very important. My place or my
work or the duty that I have for the ministry is very important. I love GOD, I love the ministry, therefore I know that I am the plan of sustaining the ministry in the Name of JESUS. We will
bring more details in course of the year. *
2. UNITY
Through out the year we will encourage unity. How can we encourage unity among the
brethren? We are living in a nation where the system only is not easy to stand with. In Africa
for example many don’t care. Families have uncle, aunties etc. but here for example many do
not have. That means you can be here and be the aunt of a person of another country. Both
of you are in the same church but you can be the aunt of that person. Because that person
does not have any person in this country. You can be the brother of that person, you can be
the sister of that person. That’s why we need to encourage unity. The way to encourage unity
is first of all to accept people the way they are. There are some things in some people you
cannot change. They are like that only GOD can change them, accept them because they are
a brother or sister in the house. And in this way we will see how we will outgrow ourselves, because that is the path that GOD wants us to follow this year. I show you love not because
you are lovely, no, but because I love GOD and GOD ask me to love, that’s why I must show
you love. I don’t want you to give me that love back, GOD will give it back to me. So, we must
encourage unity among us. It is not because somebody does not speak to you that you too
will say I will not also speak to that person. You may not agree with somebody, but try to
understand the person. Everybody has issues, but don’t bring your issue into someone’s life. Allow your issue to deal with you but don’t bring it to someone’s life. You cannot stand for
the vision and be alone.
3. CREATE ENERGY
How can we create energy and why do we have to create energy? Because in the course of
time some people are weakened. Some people are tired, some people are left alone.
Sometimes some people are going through challenges and they will say since I have entered
that church, is challenges upon challenges. They refuse to understand that sometimes GOD
is working in them. So please we need to create energy to stand with those who are facing
challenges. And how can we create energy? Is to pray for one another. The Bible says we
should pray always (1 Thessalonians 5:16-17). We must pray for one another. Wherever you
find yourself, pray for somebody. Don’t say I don’t like that sister I can’t pray for her, No. Be
obedient. The pastor says that means we all must pray for one another, that means as I go in
my closet, I must mention the name of everyone that is in this place. Learn it and if you don’t
know their names write it down. If you are praying for success, mention the name of
everyone that they should succeed this 2024. That’s how we create energy in the life of our
brethren. And the way to show love is to pray for somebody when that person does not even
know that you are doing it. But GOD knows, GOD is seeing and GOD understands why you are
doing that, so keep doing it, be obedient to it and I believe that by the end of the day, there
will be a reward for you. So be a person of energy in this year 2024, because you care for a
sister in Jesus Christ mighty Name Amen.
4. PROVIDE PURPOSE
This year we will provide purpose. They are many who are here they don’t know what to do
with their finances, they don’t know what to do with their own lives. They call themselves
children of GOD just for calling sake. No, this year, we will purposely come to you and make
sure that your life is scheduled for greatness. That is why we will provide purpose for each
and everyone in this church this year. And we will know and make sure you are working on it. One thing you must understand is that, your greatness is the greatness is the Kingdom of
GOD. But if you remain poor and broke, you are not helping the Kingdom of GOD. if you
remain at the level in which you are, you are not helping those who are looking after you. There are many who are looking after you. That means if you are not a success, how then will
you be able to lift them up? A person who is sitting down cannot be able to lift somebody up. Is only when you are standing that you will be able to lift somebody up. So this year we will
create purpose for many of you to stand for the church to stand in this city in the Name of
JESUS. AMEN.
5. FOSTER RISK TAKING
We will foster risk taking. Many of you don’t like to take risk especially the children of GOD, they like the normal, easy, comfortable life. They like the kind of life that when they hear that
something is happening, they just turn their back and move away and they don’t just want to
hear that something is going somehow. We must be at the place of taking risk this year. Do
you know that the other word for risk is faith. The other word for faith is risk. Because the
Bible says that faith is the evidence of the things hoped for (Hebrews 11:1). You are hoping
for things you do not see; you are planning for things you didn’t get yet. So that means this
year, we are going to use faith, to make the vision come to pass. And everybody is invited. Don’t say I cannot, don’t say I will not. Start now. And I believe that by the end of the year, you
will come and stand in front of GOD’S Children and say I have done it. And truly we will see
that you have done it. so, these are the things that we will work on this year. The journey will
not be easy, but we know that we will overcome. Because we know that we are not alone in
this battle, GOD is with us and when I know that GOD is with me I understand that all things
work together for my good. I cannot be a disadvantage in the Name of JESUS.
